Born on March 7, 1971, in London to an Austrian psychoanalyst mother and a Hungarian inventor father, Rachel Weisz attended Cambridge University, where she appeared in student productions and co-founded a drama group called Talking Tongues, which won a Guardian Student Drama Award at the Edinburgh Festival.
